Junior Infants and 2nd Class came to school dressed up as their favourite story characters. There were appearances from Woody, Anna, Captain Underpants and not one, but three Harry Potters! The children each showed off their costumes and spoke about their characters in front of their class. They then wrote about their characters. The class had a quiz about different stories and had to use clues to name the story. There was a storybook hunt set up outside, and the children had to read the clues and look at the book covers to find help find the next book. On each clue sheet was a new letter and the children had to write these down in the correct order to show they had completed the sequence correctly. Finally, the day was finished off with a photo shoot of everyone’s costumes. We had lots of fun!
