The children in the Junior Room did lots of activities in preparation for Easter. The children learned all about why we celebrate Easter and watched a video to explain the story of Easter. They created lovely Easter wreaths by designing some eggs and then followed steps to make a bunny rabbit. Mrs. Thompson set up an exciting Easter egg hunt outside, and we had to use a map to find clues hidden in the school grounds. The clues tested our knowledge of nursery rhymes and there were some challenges we had to complete too. Once we got to the end of the trail, we found some tasty treat buckets. Everyone went home with so much chocolate!! Delicious!!
