The Junior Room spent the week before their Halloween break learning all about the traditions of Halloween and what Halloween is about. They listened to Halloween stories and played traditional Halloween games. In Aistear, the children created spooky houses in arts and craft and went into role in the potion lab as witches and wizards creating lots of poisonous soups and potions with spiders, eyeballs, dragon scales, bats blood and so much more. The children also were busy baking too. They covered apples in melted chocolate and topped them with sprinkles, chocolate chips and marshmallows. On Friday, the Juniors left their uniforms at home and came in fancy dress. There were appearances from Baby Yoda, a pumpkin, a fireman and a witch. The children spoke about their costumes, played some traditional Halloween games and watched a Halloween movie.
